How the Instagram Grid Slicer Works
Instagram layouts display square thumbnails organized in a 3-column grid. Creators often split large panorama photos across multiple square segments to compile a "puzzle banner" look. Our **Instagram Grid Slicer** splits the photo into grids (`3x3`, `3x2`, or `2x3` columns/rows) client-side. The engine calculates precise slicing offsets based on the canvas width and height, crops the segments into distinct, high-res files, and packages them in a ZIP archive.
Instagram Upload Ordering Strategy
To guarantee correct placement on your feed, upload sliced grid tiles in **reverse numerical sequence**:
- Begin by uploading the tile with the highest number first (e.g. `tile_9.jpg` in a 3x3 layout).
- Followed by `tile_8.jpg`, then `tile_7.jpg` down to `tile_1.jpg`.
- This orders the images correctly as Instagram populates new posts from left-to-right, pushing older posts down.
