Once the Excel report is downloaded, upload it in the upload area above to analyze your Meesho payments, settlements, deductions, returns, advertising costs, and product-level results.

Understanding Your Meesho Settlement & Deductions

When Meesho deposits money into your bank account, the final amount is rarely the same as your total sales volume. Every payout spreadsheet includes multiple deductions that explain the difference between customer order values and actual bank deposits.

Meesho Payment Report Analyzer Tool processes your completed payment workbook and organizes the raw numbers into a clear financial overview. It breaks down your forward courier expenses, advertising wallet debits, return deductions, and statutory tax withholdings like TDS (Section 194-O) and TCS so you can see where every rupee went.

All calculations occur locally inside your browser. Your spreadsheets and sales numbers are never uploaded to any remote server.

Where Revenue Is Lost: Customer Returns vs RTO Penalties

One of the biggest leaks in online selling is return handling. In your Meesho payment report, returns are split into two distinct categories that affect your bottom line differently:

  • RTO (Return to Origin): When a parcel is undelivered—such as a rejected cash-on-delivery order or incorrect address—the product returns to your inventory. On Meesho, RTO orders generally do not incur return shipping penalties.
  • Customer Returns: When a customer receives the item and later requests a return, you face both lost revenue and reverse logistics deductions. Tracking this metric helps you identify flawed listings or sizing issues before they cause heavy losses.

Calculating True Product Profit with Sourcing Costs (COGS)

A product with high sales volume is not necessarily profitable. If advertising fees and return courier penalties exceed your markup, you might be losing money on every unit dispatched.

Under the COGS tab, you can enter your product purchase or manufacturing cost for each SKU. The analyzer combines your product cost with the actual settlement numbers, return deductions, and ad spend from your report to calculate your exact net profit and profit margin percentage per product.

Comparing Two Payment Periods to Spot Margin Trends

E-commerce performance shifts over time. Seasonal campaigns, price changes, or courier adjustments can alter your profitability from one payout cycle to the next.

Using the Compare Reports tab, you can upload spreadsheets from two different months or payment cycles. The tool displays side-by-side comparisons of gross revenue, return rates, advertising spend, and net bank payouts to show whether your profit margins are expanding or shrinking.

Frequently Asked Questions

What information is included in a Meesho payment report?
A Meesho payment report is an Excel file downloaded from the Meesho Supplier Panel. It contains detailed transaction records including sales, shipping fees, returns, ad expenses, and bank settlement amounts.
Why is my bank settlement amount different from my total order sales?
Your bank payout reflects gross sales minus shipping charges, customer return courier deductions, advertising costs, and statutory taxes such as TDS and TCS.
How does entering COGS help me track product profitability?
By entering your unit product sourcing cost in the COGS tab, the tool subtracts item manufacturing expenses from net settlements and return fees, giving you the real net profit and margin percentage per SKU.
What is the difference between RTO and customer returns on Meesho?
RTO represents undelivered shipments returned before customer acceptance, which generally do not carry return shipping penalties. Customer returns occur after delivery and incur reverse logistics fees.
Can I compare payment reports from two different months?
Yes. In the Compare Reports tab, you can upload two different monthly spreadsheets to review sales volume changes, return rate shifts, ad costs, and net payouts side by side.
